We live in strange times with extreme challenges on multiple levels. The “Battlefield” is nowadays a fight given almost simultaneously in Health, Energy, Climate, Economy and full-scale interstate Conflicts.

Defence and Security are the two main pillars in each country that ensure stability and set the foundations for prosperity and peace. The recent events in the heart of Europe demonstrate, however, that the shape of modern battle is shifting at an unprecedented pace.

What does it take to meet the challenges of a not-so-distant battlefield and how can we even prevent one from happening? How can we overcome the current and future challenges in the broader security domain?

C.D Multimedia Services, in cooperation with CARIE and the Cyprus Defence Industry Cluster, proudly present BATTLEFIELD ReDEFiNED 2023, an International Defence and Security Conference hosted for the first time in Limassol, between Jan 23-24, 2023. The conference is under the auspices of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and it is supported by the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the European Defence Agency (EDA) and the European Commission (DG DEFIS – Defence Industry and Space Directorate).

Multi-domain and Network-centric operations, AI and Machine Learning, Unmanned Aerial and Ground Systems, Cybersecurity, C4ISR, Sensors, Electronic Warfare, Survivability Concepts, Advanced Composite Materials, lessons learned from recent conflicts and many more interesting topics to be covered in a unique event at the crossroads of Europe, Asia and Africa.

The participants will have the opportunity to meet and network with the local defence Industry as well as international companies that will present their latest defence and security product solutions in the indoor and outdoor exhibition area of the conference.

A special section will also be devoted to the possibilities of developing a strong Defence, Security and Space industrial base in Cyprus by taking advantage of the industrial aspects of the European Defence Cooperation and the EU funding tools.

Decision makers, lawmakers, industry leaders from Cyprus and abroad, servicemen and other specialists involved in the broader Defence and Security ecosystem are welcome to participate and experience a dynamic event optimised for knowledge exchange and unique B2B opportunities offered.
